When a date is the answer, not a time
Most group plans are settled in two moves. First which day are we doing this? - and only
then, sometimes, what time. Parties, birthdays, dinners, group catch-ups and weekends away usually stop
after the first move, because the day is the plan.
That first question is normally fought out in a group chat, where whoever replies last wins and nobody
has an overview. Planning by day gives it the same treatment When2Sync already gives meeting times: open
a window, let everyone mark it, and read the answer off a heatmap.
Nobody makes an account - not you, and not the people you invite. Sharing the link is the whole invitation.
Free, Maybe, or nothing at all
A window can run six months out, and nobody can honestly answer yes or no that far ahead. So every day
takes one of three answers: Free, Maybe, or left blank. A Maybe is a day
you could do but would rather not promise, and it counts for less than a Free when the overlap is measured -
so the group sees an honest picture instead of a confident wrong one.

Common questions
How is this different from the normal When2Sync scheduler?
The scheduler resolves to fifteen-minute slots, which is right for a meeting. Planning by day
resolves to whole dates, which is right for a party, a group catch-up or a trip - where the
answer is a date rather than a time.
What happens once everyone has answered?
The calendar shades each date by how many people can make it, so the best one stands out without
reading any numbers. Click a date to see exactly who is Free, who is Maybe and who has not
answered yet. The organiser then locks in a single confirmed day, and can copy a message
announcing it to paste into the group chat.
What does Maybe mean?
A day you could do but will not commit to. Over a six-month window nobody can honestly answer
yes or no to everything, so a Maybe carries more information than a forced guess. It counts for
less than a Free when the group's overlap is measured.
Does anyone need an account?
No. Nobody signs up - not you, not the people you invite. Knowing the link is the only thing
needed to take part.
